New to St Andrew's?
Finding and starting at a new church can sometimes be daunting.
You may be new to the area and looking for a new church to join; you may be someone who has been away from church for sometime, and thinking of starting to belong; or you may be someone who has never been to a church before, and intrigued to find out what goes on behind our four walls. Whoever you are, we'd love you to join us as we discover together week by week what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
You'll probably want to start with coming to one of our Sunday services at 10am, 11.30am or 6pm. Each of these three services has a different character, but all of them are relaxed and friendly, with no expectation that you will dress up or dress down - just come as you are!
But this is just the tip of the iceberg - being part of St Andrew's is so much more than the service on a Sunday where we gather, sing, pray and listen to God's word. We have youth groups, bible study and prayer meetings, a weekly lunch club, friendship group, weekly coffee & chat and many external hirers using our beautiful facilities. There are lots of times when we can meet together to share the joys and struggles in our lives and to pray for one another.
You're welcome to come and try us, meet the worship team and other members of the church, and hear a little more about what we do, what we believe, and how you can become involved.
Will I Be Asked To Give Money?
There will be a collection, but don’t feel embarrassed to pass the collection plate on without putting anything in it. Many Church members contribute directly through their bank accounts so you won’t be the only one passing it on!
We hope this helps to explain what our Church is like.
Please do come along, we’d love to see you! If you are still nervous after reading this, please contact us and someone would love to meet you and show you around.
