Morning Service
Morning service is a modern language liturgical service. Which we believe is written by a former Bishop of the Free Church of England, and is generally used exclusively by the three Midland Churches. This service is the perfect step up from our Family Praise for those who wish to have a deeper spiritual experience. The first Sunday of every month we hold a Prayer Book Holy Communion service where we have an open table where all those who love the Lord Jesus Christ are affectionately invited.
The format of the service is rather different to other services. We use the projection equipment for all the choruses and hymns, which are generally aimed at the younger person (but not all). Matthew leads worship on guitar, with the help of Brian on piano and even you can join in.
Bishop Paul explains the story of the day and Revd Mark leads activities such as, quizzes, crafts and baking. We sing the grace and always look forward to a cuppa and a biscuit at the end of the service. If you'd like to try something different, try Messy Church. We love it!

Evening Prayer
Join us & Grow with us
MusicWe sing hymns and canticles during our evening service. Sometimes we have a mixture of traditional hymns played on our high quality piano and modern hymns which are played on guitar.

FellowshipFollowing our evening service tea, coffee and biscuits are available in our hall. This is a great time for fellowship.

FormatEvening prayer uses the beautiful old language. Our service is quite unique as the common book of prayer. The prayer book guides our thoughts and prayers, based on scripture.

Weddings and Baptisms
Weddings and Baptisms are an important part of life at St Andrew's, so we're to help you make decisions about these key life events and support you as you prepare for them. We hope you will feel welcome as part of the church family, whether or not you are regular worshipers, and that we can help you better understand the spiritual significance of these happy occasions.

If you are considering a Baptism for your son or daughter or even yourself, come along to our Family Praise Service on a Sunday morning at 11.30am. Following the service we will be happy to go through the arrangements with you and answer any questions you may have. If you have any questions relating to Weddings or Blessing please contact our minister Bishop Paul to make an appointment or come along to one of our weekly Church services on a Sunday. |
